Here you go: 1. It’s a Jail. Managers and team leads have proper excel to monitor which person take how much breaks. If you happen to take more than 15 minute break, you will get an email from your team lead/manager and they would also keep commenting on you directly and indirectly over your breaks. In fact, they will interrogate your colleagues as well and would ask indirectly to avoid going out with you. P.S – It doesn’t matter even if you are a top performer. They have this habit, after so many feedbacks on Glassdoor they have put a mask on themselves to not say it directly and now they use different tactics to make you feel this. 2. Harassment - Ego of the managers and team leads is so fragile. If you don’t fall in line according to their wish or not do bootlicking, they will make your life hell through emails and insulting you in the team meetings. They will mentally harass you till the point you lose your mental balance or fall in line. Two Managers are shining examples of this behavior and one of them is not from Capital IQ, he is from RBS but now in close circle of them. You can also understand from the fact that 90% of his team has left in one year just because of his behavior. So it can give you a good idea about the mental harassment being done at the place. 3. No Respect for Women- Managers always treat women as a substandard resource. They will make indirect comments over the incapability of women, it’s fun for them. I have witnessed this in multiple meetings. 4. No Committee for Complaints/Biased Management- How would you feel if you have formally complaint about the harassment done by your manager and how he makes you feel uncomfortable and those guys directly arrange a meeting with your manager and give him clean chit in front of you and you still work under him? HR does a great job here, she will not even listen to you or check with your team mates about the behavior of Manager on floor and will say in their investigation Manager is clear. Those guys have even terminated or indirectly fired on complaining( with facts) about their loved ones. P.S : This hasn’t happened only with one person, in fact with multiple women and men. However, if the complaint is against a person who is not in their close circle or if the complaint is done by the person who is in their close circle, then action is swift. They have thrown out people on allegations it just those people were either fresher or not in their close circle 5. Family Saga- Well if you read earlier reviews, you would know the management( managers and team leads) are like a family. Why? Because they all have come from Capital IQ (and one from RBS), so just don’t say anything to those people or their gfs/bfs/best friends and rest you are sorted. There have been multiple formal complaints about each manager so you can sense how big this mess is. In fact, once one entire team stood up so they had to take action against one manager but can you guess the action? Well they removed him from the team and shifted to other team and gave him even better opportunity. 6. No Career Growth- If you are dev or QA, don’t stay for more than 1 year in this company. You will become a product expert which is used by Blackstone rather than the technology expert. The work Blackstone outsource to Dev and QA team is of second degree. No Scope for Innovation or learning new technology, up-skilling yourself. Pathetic automation, they still use excels for automation. 7. Work Shift- On Papers it is 1-9 but generally they would ask you to extend so now teams extend by 2 hours for good two weeks so the shift is generally 11-9 now or 1-11. 8. DEVELOPERS Please do not join, definitely not a good place for devs in terms of projects and learning. Pro tip- Don’t read those positive reviews. While we were working we have seen that a few people were asked indirectly to put good reviews as earlier there were so many negative reviews. I am really telling you, you will be suffering mentally if you are not a bootlicker or don't come in their close circle by repetitively praising them. If your mental health and constant insult is not an issue for you, and you just need money. This is the place man! They can give you only one thing and that is money but no dignity, no respect.
