Misalignment between leaders. Grew explosively, not sustainably. Most valuable employees left or were let go in rounds of layoffs. Priorities shifted weekly, leadership changed frequently, departments were siloed. Some collaboration existed, however the underlying challenge was who would take credit for the accomplishment, and which department would own it moving forward.
