Pros
It's nice working for a company with family values and to never worry about being asked or expected to violate one's morals or ethics. Tilson publishes its values and holds its team members to those standards the best it can. The business environment is friendly and very family oriented.
Cons
Strategic vision is a challenge for all organizations, and Tilson is no exception. Getting an 85 year old organization that has weathered turbulent economic times (Great Depression, 80's Real Estate Crash, Great Recession) being very conservative to plan aggressively for growth is tough.
