Pros

good clients. stable hours. interesting work. friendly staff

Cons

try to grow asia offices but very slow and bad employer reputation. local staff cannot be senior and pay and packages below market. if sent from London then will be senior and high pay and package. no career development for local staff especially Japan and Hong Kong. Singapore better career chance but only because new boss from London and cannot hire from competitors. does not feel like a international company. double standards between offices and some favoured staff. typical old fashioned British sexist and racist to staff not male or white. appraisal system only for criticize staff. dictatorship style in asia offices and bad management. senior director sent to asia famous for power hungry, politics and lying. even first 2 senior claims staff sent from London to Hong Kong famously resigned. all asia office bosses male and white

Thank you for your feedback on Tindall Riley. We appreciate all constructive feedback. You have mentioned some of the positive aspects of working at Tindall Riley, whilst also voicing some of your concerns. We are striving to improve diversity and opportunities for all employees. We endeavour to employ a workforce that is representative of the local population, and to support and develop all employees; regardless of gender or race. The opening of regional office hubs is a relatively new area for us, and we are always keen to learn where we might be able to do better and improve in this regard. When Tindall Riley acquired the regional hubs our goal was to bring those offices into our global framework, reflecting the needs of our worldwide membership. A smooth transition required a handful of experienced colleagues from London join those hubs to aid the transfer of knowledge. It is our long-term goal to employ and promote local people, evidenced by our recruitment in the past three years; although again we must recognise our worldwide membership and ability to call on colleagues from our diverse offices and staff. We take issues of racism, sexism and favouritism very seriously. It is a cause of great concern that you did not feel able to raise your concerns via one of the internal channels available. We do have a confidential whistleblowing hotline (Safecall) that is managed by an external company. This hotline is available to all current and former employees. The numbers are set out below. We have had our Regional HR Business Partner conduct an investigation into the issues you have raised in the review. The investigation was unable to find any evidence to support the claims you have made. We still urge you to contact him despite the conclusion of the investigation to share your information. If you feel unable to speak to our HR BP, please call Safecall confidentially, who will pass this information on to us.
