Pros
The networking with clients side of people
Cons
On day 2 in Chennai, they were extremely rude and made personal comments and misgendering me and called me by a female employee's name whilst being a male without building any rapport( I can take a joke but in a professional environment this is highly unprofessional behaviour). Extreme loud mouth content lead in the office was a distraction. Her condescending attitude towards her juniors was honestly a huge red flag Have to work with the Chennai- co-owner who will throw you under the bus instantly to please the clients; won't defend you. Will tolerate bad behaviour towards employees from clients (discrimination based on birth) while having evidence and won't defend you despite proof in case of false accusation by the client. Cult-like behaviour, on receiving a paycheck; people just keep thanking the owners. For their credit, the owners have tried to stop them but the master-servant mentality continues. A few abusive co-workers abuse either directly or use passive-aggressive language. The key passive-aggressive and outright abuser was the senior account manager whose name means 'statue of the embodiment of love' is the furthest thing from it. The same person intentionally misgendered me by calling me another female employee's name, which is highly inappropriate. He thinks he's hot stuff because of his English language mastery as if he's the only one with that ability in the world and no one would stand up to this bully because he got the clients. This same genius bullied the other employees to give 5-star ratings to the client's app, SUN NXT to jack up positive ratings, you even had to submit a screenshot to the person declaring that you have given a good rating. This as far as I know is unethical business practice. Were forced to "voluntarily accept" a 50% pay cut during lockdown the reasoning from the co-owner, being "what expenses do you have during a lockdown?" The man was miffed that I didn't beg to offer my services of during the lockdown because I wasn't assigned any work. How about not sleeping on your employee and only waking up when it's time for paycheck cooking up some b.s reason to try and guilt the employee into accepting pay cuts Show some spine and act on your "LOVE ONLY" tagline. The Mumbai co-owner needs to stop using tone-deaf lines like "don't be depressed or suppressed" as if that will make things okay. Don't think your b.s platitudes will make up for the abhorrent work culture and stress you subject the employees to. High time to walk the talk. Instead of bs HR festivals/events, you've yet to implement healthcare for all. How dare you sit and pontificate that you care about mental health when you won't even provide basic health insurance to your employees? I get that there are many temptations to perform grandstanding about mental health, how about you start with enforcing work hours? Plenty of evidence where calls happen post 9 pm, post 11 pm. How can a person achieve peace of mind when they're not allowed to have a life outside the office? Perfectly healthy people will suffer a significant loss of quality of life if such behaviour is encouraged. Other than these workaholic psychos who love enforcing their lifestyle on others; everyone else is having a bad time. Love only? More like lavda only. Bother learning people's names instead of referring to everyone as "sir". Look at your atrocious attrition rate, which should provide key insights as to what is going on in the company; rampant favouritism. When a string of HRs quit it's a signifier of something. Get rid of abusive a-holes on a power trip; Account Manager 'statue of the husband of a thousand and eight wives' I am talking about you Nothing here is something I would not have said during an exit interview which was, surprise surprise NEVER conducted. There is no employee feedback taken monthly, once in two months or even 6 months. Dear Mumbai Co-Owner, don't claim that no one was laid off or got a pay cut when it was happening in the Chennai team. Open your eyes, the employees are miserable. And get educated about mental health issues and such before spewing nonsense. If you need money and got no other options If you hate having a social life or a life outside the office If you love learning nothing because all you're doing is scrambling together to get the 'deliverables' ready for the clients. If you love rampant favouritism and If you love being abused while being told they believe in love only like your lying abusive ex, Go for it! welcome to the abusive "Family" 😂👌 Abandon all hope ye who enter here They will never publish their atrocious attrition rate and that should tell you everything:)
