Pros
- I was at Tipalti for 4 years and it used to be a great company so there is something there... But the last 18 months have rotten the UK business to the core and there's no signs this will change.
Cons
- Exceptionally difficult to get paid. Require two other teams to do their jobs properly before you get 50% of commission released. The remaining 50% is even more difficult. Likely getting paid 100% of commission on 5% of deals. - Product not fit for UK market. No investment into the region. - Massively overhired AEs to the point you would have 1 customer meeting every fortnight. - Last week laid off about 30% of sales team globally. The demand is not high enough. Tipalti's ICP in the UK is very small. - Leadership is non-existent - SDR function isn't working - Massive gap between contracted ARR and actualised revenue
