Pros

Customer Relations, Community Involvement, Solid Product Line, as a sales person you can feel confident in what you are providing the consumer. Co workers with in the store itself are generally pleasant to work with.

Cons

This review really centers on Gill's point S/Tire Factory stores, and not the company as a whole. The locations in question are The Dalles, Hood River, Hillsboro, Newberg, McMinnville, St. John's, Albany, Parkrose, Keizer, Bend, Redmond, Madras and Lapine. These stores are owned and operated independently as Nelson Tire. As an employee, steer clear of these locations. These stores are managed by a very inept upper management. High turn over over at all levels is an ongoing issue. Employees are looked as a simple commodity. Pay is below industry standard, and the bonus structure is in a state of constant change, making it extremely hard to attain. Those in charge make frequent changes in store management, yet never look inward to the find the "common denominator". Some members of the executive management team often berate employees with foul language and personal attacks. Beware of these locations.

Pros

Fast paced, great pay, fulltime with many benefits including payed vacations.

Cons

Main boss is horrible, I trained 15 guys over 4 years and when all of them quit or got fired it was because the boss and his son would literally make fun of new hires like in high school, and they would quit or get gaslit by the boss mainly cause the bosses teenage son would target new hires he didn't like even if they did the job well, I left there because of this..
