Pros
Being a young start up the visibility into all aspects of the business is really unique. Employees are encouraged to lean into all aspects of the business and actively pursue their professional growth, alongside their managers. Since the structure is so vertical,seeing your solutions and thoughts immediately executed and used with customers/ product, really makes you feel heard and like you are all moving forward together. Feedback is constantly encouraged by all aspects of the business, encouraged and acted upon which can be unique. Speaking up is a constant, whether it be an opposing opinion or a suggestion, this is definitely a place where your voice is heard, respected, acted upon. Being so young the environment is fun and lighthearted
Cons
Fluidity is a perk of any startup but can also be a curse. If you like process and procedure, it is only in its infancy here. Being scrappy is a huge asset here but can sometimes allow projects to run past deadline or priorities to change at the drop of a hat with projects not being buttoned up. This is a fast paced environment where you need to be able pivot, that is not for everyone.
