Pros
Friendly staff, people who care about your personal life, low drama, work-life balance. AMAZING 401k match, PLATINUM PPO health plan (pennies on the dollar for the employee alone). Relevant coaching as a partnership, hires based on a diversity of service and tech backgrounds, interpersonal communication, team-based values & communication, responsive management. Hybrid work environment for most roles, convenient work site location (Michigan office). These people, their managers, and even their CEO actually REALLY care about their employees...NO JOKE! Snacks and beverages provider galore. This company acts like a start-up in the best ways, even though it's 20+ years old.
Cons
VERY FEW! Widescale communication is a challenge as well as standardization and documentation. Medical costs for family outside the employee is pricey, a sacrifice for great price on employee-only rate. While this is a great place that fosters personal growth, flat management structure in a small family-owned style makes career path limited by open positions, cross-teaming and changing departments. Lack of wage improvement plans, since wages are stagnant pre-pandemic. These roles would be better fully remote.
