Pros
Great people to work with, supportive, smart, and open to collaboration. Access to cutting-edge tech and the chance to work on projects that are doing something new, R&D is part of the day-to-day job. We work in small teams, which makes things move quickly. Great internal communication and knowledge sharing, it’s easy to learn from others and get involved across teams through reading groups, office hours, and technical meetings where teams regularly share what they’re working on and achieving. Something I personally like is that if you're curious about what else happened in the company e.g. what sales is doing, or want to join a conversation outside your area, you're welcome to. Travel opportunities for those who enjoy it, especially if based in Edinburgh as travels to London are fairly common. Lots of benefits and good EMI scheme in place.
Cons
It’s a startup, so things move fast. Personally, I work well in this type of environment, but it might not suit someone looking for a slower pace day-to-day job. Travel can be required, which may not suit everyone preferences.
