Pros
The leadership and core team are dependable and collaborative, unafraid of rolling up their sleeves, working in the trenches, and getting the job done. I really respected the over-all focus on problem-solving. The company is also very welcoming of diverse opinions, particularly woman, who are well represented among the leadership, the design team, and the sales team. I always felt well taken care of, and there was a high respect for work-life balance. Probably the most refreshing thing about Tophatter, is the level of transparency maintained by the business with its employees - you are always in a position to understand why you're being asked to do what you are doing, and to learn more.
Cons
Tophatter is still a relatively young business, and so its still figuring out a lot of details. If you don't have patience for the kind of open-endedness one encounters with startups, this could be a problem. As for me, I found the high level of collaboration and positive energy between team members was more than enough to compensate.
