You get a set percentage of every sale you make. There is great freedom as you make your own route of who and when you will visit. Good opportunity to build long relationships with customers. Great products that are better than the companies you compete with.
Cons
Family owned business and the owner manages from another state. Very little training and verbal affirmation for success. Far too much criticism and responsibility for the level of pay. Every customer visit must be entered into a CRM database asking for an exhaustive amount of detail. You get bogged down in paperwork phone meetings and emails from several different bosses. There far too many arbitrary and unnecessary company policies which do more to slow things down and frustrate employees than help.
