Stressful and demanding job - Anonymous employee Toptranslation Employee Review

Good interface with efficient scheduling.

Low salary stuck at same level for years. Often pays invoices late.

I worked for the company during Covid and they were very good with home office working and providing networking opportunities whilst we were all at home for example workout classes and wine evenings. Despite the complications with the pandemic it still felt like a very personal and familiar atmosphere within the company. The colleagues were all very welcoming and helpful, I always had someone to ask for any question. They provided a laptop for me and were able to remotely fix any issues with it. After the internship they offered me the opportunity to work for them remotely on a freelance basis which allowed my to continue translating during my studies.

Due to Covid I missed out on interaction with other translators which could have improved my skillset.
