Pros
TradeStation is a structured company, with process in place. They have teams, and business areas defined to work for. Decent salary, and decent benefits (health, dental, vision, 401K). Work from home day for IT Department, and there is not micromanagement.
Cons
It's hard to get to know the business/market when you start. Management don't align with high company goals. There is no career growth after a couple of months. You'll feel like you are stuck, and not growing at all. It's so hard to get promoted. The Performance Reviews are just a formal tasks they do, not a tool to improve employees skills, neither a way to recognize their contributions. TradeStation is stingy with salary. There are few people who make decisions, the Business Analyst doesn't know the business, the Product Management are not align with company goals, and those factors affect software development.
