The owner hires you and tells you the first month you’re on probation. She doesn’t take taxes from you that month. RED FLAG I was misclassified, intentionally. The rules kept changing month after month and I had enough of that- when I asked about the taxation- I got let go. RETALIATION. Not one artist stayed longer than a year. We’re working with a personality disorder unfortunately. If you’re in the spotlight and you will be- it will be one subject after another. You will be yelled at and talked down to by the owner. Just to make that more uncomfortable when she switches it up you will feel small for thinking all those bad things about her. It’s a tactic. The owner the boss is all about her. There are no company benefits no health dental 401k- nothing. The pay is average to poor. For the designer it’s bad. Supervisor maintenance- really bad. I had a good attitude and I am very optimistic however not by the time I departed. The morale is heavily affected by the toxic management. Overall the atmosphere was hostile and I wouldn’t recommend working there one bit.
