What I like about this job is that they train you in how to type up the legal documents in a template for each client.

This is unpaid training, but in the end, the training is worth it.

They actually responded to my application.

They ghosted me right at the end of the training process. I spent hours of unpaid time learning their style (which was very inadequately described in the style manual and frequently differed from what the editor told me to do.) Then, when I was just about to finish the last training assignment, my editor stopped sending me feedback. When I wrote her several days later, wondering what was going on, she didn't reply to me then, either. So I wrote to the address for the recruitment person, thinking maybe the editor had quit. But I haven't heard from them, either. I feel like I wasted all my time on a job that never came through, for reasons unknown.
