Pros
People and technology. The people I've worked with were mostly very talented and I got to learn a lot from them. They gave me the total independence and trust to make decisions and push products and projects forward. The technology is complex and intersting, and I got to work on many innovative products and lead them the way I saw was the right for the organization.
Cons
Company responsabilty for its employees is lacking in most of the areas. The HR function is almost not felt - the company does not take care of employees needs at all, there is no presence in job transitions or when challenges and overwork arrive, and there is no one one to get answers for important questions that relates to compansations and company commitments. The work life balance existed only due to the managers flexibilty and trust, but company wise - it is completely ignored. I was provided with false information about stock options terms that led to the fact that myself as well as many other employees did not receive what was expected, even with a very high performance. I was asking about this a lot and nobody even bothered to provide any answers. I know of many eployees leaving the company due to this missinformation and miss guidance. Trax had published in media 4 cycles of layoffs - laying off low and high performance employees with almost no notice and no preparations. I read a lot of reviews before going to Trax, and still decided to work there, but today I know that most of these reviews were right, these are not some people that were specifically disappointed, but a company agenda. I saw many talents leaving from overload of working and over carring, probably with a strong HR culture and a well mentained company culture this could be mitigated.
