Pros
There is no such thing as a perfect employer, so Treatt is not perfect. I would say Treatt as an empoloyer is a work in progress. They are already quite good and there is a willingness to get even better, which is important. Whether that willingness will lead to actual improvement, only time can tell. Random good points (list by no means complete): - work flexi time for most employee - good company culture - business is blooming - safety taken very seriously - recent improvements in fields like diversity and mental health - growing company, new faces appearing all the time - many opportunities to develop - large majority of people are friendly and welcoming - factory smells really nice - you get to taste all kinds of things (taste panels of products the factory makes)
Cons
- Salaries are lower than average market (but good benefits) - Facilities are outdated at present (but about to move to brand new ones) - HR department has had dreadful practices in the past (but this has improved dramatically in the recent months since new people have been hired in HR) - The location might not be ideal for someone who likes a busy life, Bury St Edmunds is not London or Cambridge (but it isn't a tiny village either) - Communication between departments still needs to be worked on a bit, still some old fashioned hierarchical cleavage between blue collar jobs and white collar jobs
