Pros

Everyone there was friendly and helpful when starting out. It was a very healthy work environment with insistence to leave work with work and not have to do any extra work when you weren't being properly paid.

Cons

Not a lot of cons, the base pay was reasonable and there were opportunities available to achieve a more permanent position.

Pros

Strong organizational mission and vision focused on environmental impact in Los Angeles. Colleagues are hard working, passionate, and dedicated, fostering a collaborative atmosphere. Opportunities to contribute to meaningful projects that benefit the community.

Cons

There’s a big difference between what the company says it values and how things actually work, especially when it comes to employee advancement. High-performing employees often get passed over for promotions, resulting in increased turnover and diminished morale. HR doesn’t engage with staff much, but they make the big decisions about who gets promoted, creating a lack of transparency and consistency in career progression. It also seems to have nothing to do with your actual output. Pay is lower than what you’d expect for the amount of work and experience needed.
