I’ve spent the last several years at Tria Federal, and one of the things I appreciate most about my experience here is the many opportunities for growth, both professionally and personally. I originally joined supporting documentation efforts on a federal healthcare contract, but over time, my role expanded far beyond traditional documentation work. I’ve had opportunities to help improve internal processes, standardize documentation practices, support onboarding initiatives, coordinate across teams, mentor others, and contribute to broader operational and project/program management work. Being trusted with larger initiatives and more strategic responsibilities played a huge role in my professional development. I've felt both personally and vocationally important and impactful, which is important to me. What made the biggest difference for me, though, was the people. I’ve been fortunate to work with leadership that genuinely invests in employee growth and development. Throughout my time here, I’ve had mentors who consistently encouraged me to challenge myself, think bigger professionally, and step outside of my comfort zone. These leaders included my direct supervisors, my project managers, leaders who believed in me and saw my potential, and many others who gave me a chance to shine time and time again. I was given so many opportunities to step outside my comfort zone and become the person I am today. Having leaders who advocated for me and believed in my potential made a lasting impact on both my confidence and career trajectory. I’ve also really appreciated that my project teams trusted me with meaningful responsibilities rather than keeping me siloed in my originally hired role. As I gained more experience, I was given opportunities to take ownership of process improvement efforts, operational coordination, leadership responsibilities, and cross-functional initiatives. That level of trust made me feel like my work and contributions genuinely mattered. I began leading meetings, interacting closely with the client, and learning how the contract functioned intimately, which led to my vocational transformation. Another thing I value about Tria as a whole is the emphasis on continuous learning, innovation, and adapting to where the industry is heading. There’s a strong push toward professional development, process improvement, and the embrace of emerging technologies — especially AI and modern collaboration tools. I’ve appreciated being part of an environment that encourages curiosity, learning, and the evolution of skill sets rather than resisting change. It creates opportunities for employees to continue growing in ways that extend well beyond their original roles. I myself have learned how to vibe code after not knowing anything about development using Tria's tools, which has been amazing. Federal contracting can definitely move fast, and priorities can shift quickly, but I’ve found that adaptability, collaboration, and initiative are genuinely recognized here. If you are willing to step up, learn, and contribute, you can make a meaningful impact. Overall, my experience at Tria has been incredibly positive. I’ve had the opportunity to grow far beyond the role I originally started in, work alongside talented and supportive people, and continue developing skills that have expanded my career in ways I did not initially expect.

Cons

Like many federal contracting environments, priorities and organizational structures can shift quickly depending on contract needs and client direction. Some internal processes are still evolving, so adaptability and comfort with change are important. Career paths are not always linear, and growth opportunities can depend heavily on project needs and timing.
