Good paying job, just stressful - Travel Nurse Recruiter Triage Staffing Employee Review

Pros

Great income potential. Good base salary and you can expect to make 15% commission. If you can really perform, they have a pay structure in place to increase your commission percentage, but you give up your salary and can’t go back to salary after that. This was a game changer from 2020-2023, but it’s hard to hit right now for newer employees. Great coworkers Fun perks like a gym in the building, ping pong, air hockey, etc.

Cons

Expect to work overtime - you’re not forced to, but you’ll feel like you’ll need to in order to perform and be there for travelers. Some management can micromanage you. Due to the current tough market, morale isn’t the greatest.

Pros

Modern Workspace: The office is a well-designed, professional environment that is genuinely pleasant to work in. Convenient Amenities: The company provides excellent coffee and solid return-to-office (RTO) benefits, which contribute to a more comfortable daily experience.

Cons

High Turnover/Churn: The culture leans heavily toward a "sink or swim" mentality. Many new hires struggle to make it past the initial training period, which suggests the onboarding process does not adequately prepare staff for the realities of the role. Unrealistic Expectations: Healthcare recruiting is widely recognized as an incredibly demanding sales environment, but here, the pressure is compounded by systemic issues. Staff have consistently missed goals for multiple consecutive weeks, which seems to reflect a misalignment between company quotas and the actual support/training provided to recruiters. Mass Hiring Strategy: The company recently conducted mass layoffs in late 2025 and is now aggressively backfilling positions. Potential applicants should be aware that this hiring surge often indicates an unstable internal environment rather than healthy growth.
