Pros
I started at Trifork Amsterdam right after university, with prospects of great senior developer colleagues to learn from, inside trainings to follow, meet ups serviced from our office and a diverse set of projects to be a part off. All of these promises were kept in the years to come. This was with differing success over the years though. I definitely learned a lot real quick, which I'm tremendously thankful for. But I've also seen big shifts in management perspectives over the years I've worked here. Three years ago I would have told you to probably look for a different company, but I'm fully recommending the work place at this point in time. There are lots of people to learn from, there are still several interesting trainings being held, we have meet ups every several weeks with interesting speakers and the majority of the projects are nice to work for. So, if you've just finished uni and you want to learn a lot of diverse, interesting topics in the software business, I'd take your chances at Trifork Amsterdam.
Cons
In the years I've worked at Trifork, management seemed to shift quite often between goals. When I started off at Trifork Amsterdam 3 years ago, the office was bustling with lots of interesting people. Sadly enough, this setup was changed by the management changed, in favor of out door projects (for probably bigger cash flows). This wasn't a pleasant change in my view, as I lost contact with the majority of Trifork office and it's colleagues. It has to be said this is an experience from 3-2 years ago, and the office is shifting back to having as much in house projects as possible, to achieve the much wanted and valuable cross-pollination between all the colleagues. I still think however this should be pushed through a bit more, as the people who work here definitely make it worthwhile.
