Pros
Can be an inventive and forward thinking company at times.
Cons
The company is built on people but generally does not pay very well, has no bonus below senior levels, demands long hours out of certain salaried roles, and has very limited career progression. Until recently the one thing it had going for it was a flexible, hybrid work environment. That’s changing as management is increasingly demanding people return to the office, contradicting what it has communicated in the past. Given the success management is communicating this year in performance, it’s hard to see a problem that needs fixing by taking away some of the work life balance that people value. 3 out of 3 of the last senior leaders replaced have been hired externally which says little about the confidence in of the existing workforce. Starting at the top, the inability to move upwards trickles down to lower levels of the company and limits upward mobility at all levels.
