Pros

Ability to make multiple six figures, 401K matching, dental and medical after a Certain period estimated 60-90 days. Paid training for first two weeks at $500 per week. Ability to make your own schedule once you are earning your own business. Not for the faint of heart do your research and know what your getting into! Some very hard working and good people of course. Little to no sales or solar experience needed.

Cons

Long hours in all weather doing door to door sales. Must generate your own leads and go door to door. Expect a lot of negativity, you must be very strong mentally and have a very high emotional intelligence. All expenses for your time, vehicle usage are not covered or reimbursed. You must furnish your own iPad and cell phone plan to use for your official Trinity Solar business, again not sure about the the tax write off on those items as you are considered a W-2 employee and not a 1099 self employed. Company invest very little in its sales force as they expect a high turnover rate.

Pros

There used to be more positive to working here but under the new CEO they have taken everything away from their long standing employees.

Cons

One of the biggest issues is pay. Employees who have been here for years who know the job inside and out are often making the same as (or less than) brand new hires who are just coming in with little to no experience. It’s frustrating and honestly pretty discouraging when your time, effort, and knowledge don’t seem to be valued. It also feels like the teams doing the bulk of the day-to-day work and making sure everything runs smoothly aren’t compensated fairly for the workload they carry. Raises and improvements to benefits are limited, even for those who consistently go above and beyond. At the same time, there’s a clear difference in how departments are treated. Sales teams are rewarded with trips, events, and strong financial incentives, while internal teams, who play a huge role in actually driving success for this company, don’t see the same level of recognition or pay. It creates a pretty big disconnect. What makes it harder is that the company promotes a very positive, upbeat culture, but that doesn’t always match the reality employees experience day to day. Over time, this discourages a lot of employees from wanting to remain here.
