Pros

Trinity has done some things right compres to other employers. The base salary is decent, the knocking hours are ok at best, and some of the coworkers you meet are all cool people. The people you meet here for the most part outside of professionalism are great people. Paid training and all is good too.

Cons

Yes, I know that the Field Marketing position is “for people with a strong passion for sales” and “that’s why your compensation plan is so high” and “you offer uncapped commissions”. That’s great and all, why has it never been a priority to work more closely with the reps you do have and work to retain them instead of treating them like expendable and constantly focusing solely on hiring? There’s been a lot of great and awesome people that have walked in and out of the office that had a super saturated area and the management tells them there’s nothing wrong with their pitch but the pitch doesn’t work. The same management that’ll throw more objections than a homeowner on why he won’t knock with a team member requesting help and coaching. And on top of that, some people come to this job seeking job security and management will be very vague, dishonest, etc. To just get people in and sell them a dream. On top of that, this job requires more than 40hrs a week but will never pay more than 40hrs a week. You get to the office by 10 and get out of the field by 730. Add that up from Tues-Sat, that’s about 4-5 hrs unpaid. Requires you to use your own vehicle with no gas reimbursements, not able to write it off since it’s a W2 job, repetitive team meetings that after the first week or two become pointless, and truly little to no help by management. They’d rather just replace you than help you. Remember, when you work for this company, you are nothing more than an expense and expendable.

Pros

Great people, caring upper management, fun meetings, good coworkers, great work environment, uncapped commission potential, base salary, full health, dental, vision, variety of optional insurances, 401k with large company match, actually helping people save money, helping the planet.

Cons

Inter-department communication, slow company-wide decision making, bad apples have forced upper management to make decisions that feel like tight leash on entry level reps.

Pros

There used to be more positive to working here but under the new CEO they have taken everything away from their long standing employees.

Cons

One of the biggest issues is pay. Employees who have been here for years who know the job inside and out are often making the same as (or less than) brand new hires who are just coming in with little to no experience. It’s frustrating and honestly pretty discouraging when your time, effort, and knowledge don’t seem to be valued. It also feels like the teams doing the bulk of the day-to-day work and making sure everything runs smoothly aren’t compensated fairly for the workload they carry. Raises and improvements to benefits are limited, even for those who consistently go above and beyond. At the same time, there’s a clear difference in how departments are treated. Sales teams are rewarded with trips, events, and strong financial incentives, while internal teams, who play a huge role in actually driving success for this company, don’t see the same level of recognition or pay. It creates a pretty big disconnect. What makes it harder is that the company promotes a very positive, upbeat culture, but that doesn’t always match the reality employees experience day to day. Over time, this discourages a lot of employees from wanting to remain here.
