Pros
Wonderful training program, with some wonderful trainers. Then you are let loose on the world full of company pride and vigor. The company is very good at selling itself to you CONSTANTLY. The values the company promotes are wonderful and that made it easy to embrace them.
Cons
Honestly this is the equivalent of running your own business without the benefit. They will abuse you as far as you will let them. They have no problem asking people to relocate multiple times (3x in less then 18 months was the worst I ever heard about). Depending on the situation you will be expected to put in minimum 50-60 hours per week if all is going well. If you have an employee quit \ get fired \ die you are expected to fulfill all of there responsibilities as well as your own and hire \ train the replacement. If this happens you can expect to be clocking closer to 70 or 80 hours per week. Vacation time is given but working conditions and your Boss can make it almost impossible to take. A good example of this is someone requested 2 weeks off after his wife had an emergency c section and 2 days into that time off was asked by his boss to come back to work. District mangers are given many many many chances. That's all fine and good if you are one, not so good if you are stuck working for a bad one. Working for a bad one will compound many of the issues I outlined above.
