Pros
I worked at Home Depot for several years prior to accepting a position with Tuff Shed. I was hesitant as I was working my way up the ladder pretty fast, supervising multiple departments and taking on a lot of responsibility. My schedule was hectic, the job demanding, and I got little recognition for my efforts. I saw a position was open for my local Tuff Shed as a Sales Design Consultant and I applied through indeed and then again directly through the Tuff Shed website just in case. I read reviews on online on glassdoor, indeed, and anywhere else I could. The next day I received a call for an interview and then another a few hours late. The two managers who called me answered all of my questions and seemed very excited to have someone join the team with my experience. When I was offered the job I couldn't say yes fast enough. I've been in the position for 6 months now and I couldn't be happier. Not only was the training extensive but my management team is a phone call/ email/ text away for any questions I have. I started at the base salary but with commission I am making more than half what I made before. I look forward to going to work everyday. There is no micro managing and I've been given the tools to succeed. That paired with my energy I am able to get what I put in.
Cons
I didn't start with the company sooner.
