Pros

Having spent several years working with Turn/River, I can confidently say that this organization fosters an environment where talent is recognized and growth is encouraged. From day one, I felt welcomed by a supportive team and leadership that genuinely values collaboration and open communication. My position has allowed me to work closely with various individuals, which has not only enhanced my skills but also broadened my understanding of the business as a whole. The management team is approachable and actively encourages feedback, which makes it easy to share ideas and contribute to the company’s success. Work-life balance here is also commendable. Flexibility is often encouraged, allowing me to maintain a healthy balance between my professional and personal life. My experience with Turn/River has been nothing short of positive. I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had and the incredible people I’ve worked alongside. Highly recommend!

Cons

Turn/River is growing, which naturally comes with its share of challenges—nothing out of the ordinary from my experience working in Tech.

Pros

I get to work with a very smart bunch of people, who I like spending time with. It's challenging (but fun) to solve difficult business problems and then build re-usable IP, which we can then implement across the portfolio and new acquisitions. The company has seen good returns from this approach and continues to improve their playbooks and add new ones, so there is always a new problem to solve or something to improve on. Lovely office, well-stocked kitchen and free lunch 1-2 times per week is also a great perk.

Cons

Communication between investment and operations teams could sometimes be better - things are either lost in translation, or discussions are not frequent enough or at the right depth to get to the right decision quickly
