I only worked with Tutami a short while, and I enjoyed being able to work remotely and to work on something that felt meaningful. Helping students succeed at the SAT is a worthy cause. My team was incredible and intelligent and we learned to work well together despite being flung all over the world.

While the company vision talked the talk, we were often asked to basically plagiarize Khan Academy and other sources for material in the interest of working quickly. Middle management was abusive, every hour billed was scrutinized and sometimes they refused to pay if they felt we took too long on a task,, expectations changed constantly, and we were expected to do more with less every meeting. It was incredibly stressful,

I loved working for Tutami. There was a lot of potential there.

Micromanagement by new supervisor made ruined a good thing.
