Pros
The location is great, really clean, spacious and quiet. Mona will frequently stock snacks for the tutors and tutees. There are some great materials for assisting students, and the scheduling process is all handled generally very efficiently by Mona, meaning you as a tutor can focus your attention entirely on the content of your sessions.
Cons
Mona is very high stress. She cares an incredible amount about her tutors, is organized, and a great person, but she can also be very anxious and anxiety provoking. If she get a call from a concerned parent about a reading grade, she may intervene mid-session to change what the student is working on at that moment, often sending mixed signals to them as to who is in charge, what they should be focusing on and why. Additionally her "motivation" for students is often to tell them to "work very hard". It's done in a nice way, but it isn't a very effective form of encouragement.
