Pros
- no prospecting - smaller company - every day is different - good production department - can be good pay at times - high performers make good money but definitely get there through preferential treatment
Cons
- trending in the wrong direction due to private equity company pulling the strings - Managers have a lot to say but offer little in individual assistance for their people - not entirely their fault they’ve got about 20 advisors per manager - need rain to come from the sky in order to have business - changed comp plan that makes it nearly impossible to make the kind of money a lot for the more tenured advisors are used to - depending on territory you have the potential for 4k miles a month on your car and they make it a pain in the butt to get gas reimbursement - pricing is 30% above competition making it nearly impossible to sell if customers get other quotes.
