Pros
Decent place to get your footing in the design industry and learn some of the basics. Honestly just a stamp for your resume. Coworkers/peers are very encouraging and genuinely fun to be around and work with. They make the rest of it bearable!
Cons
Disappointing to see management devolve into a menacing presence. Low compensation (semi-typical of small agencies) and overcomplicated process for moving up/receiving promotions. Most projects were poorly scoped out which left teams overworked and underpaid. Management staff plays favorites. They hire a lot of recent grads and expect them to handle full-scale projects with little mentorship or support. They also seem to lean towards women employees since they are statistically less likely to speak up for themselves and ask for fair compensation/treatment. This is very much calculated as management seeks to manipulate new hires and fuels workplace competition as a means of distraction. Rate of turnover should scare you. This agency is on its way out... and clinging to AI as a lifeline isn't going to save them!
