Pros

Great middle management Wide range of technologies to work on for experience Good initial compensation

Cons

Senior management frequently throw tantrums and yell at staff very poor work/life balance dishonest PTO policy; it is not unlimited, it is simply not accrued so the company doesn't have to pay it out. They require employees to find your own coverage but do not have adequate staffing for that coverage. Extremely high turnover rate over the last 2 years Not understanding about any major life events; funerals, children, vehicle trouble, natural disasters or health problems. Very poor onboarding and training experience; spend 1 week watching random other employees work and then are told to read through a folder of 2+ year old docs to learn company standards... almost none of these documents are up to date and employees are expected to perform at a level they were never trained for Actively discourages employees from discussing wages despite it being a federally protected right. No cost of living increases Claims yearly salary review but does not conduct yearly salary review PS- 2 of the 3 5 star reviews for this company are from family or friends of family of the CEO... don't put any stock in them.

Pros

Brief: Unlimited PTO, Flexible Work schedule, approachable management, Family Atmosphere Long: I made the switch to UIS Technology Partners after 16 years in the education field, and I was apprehensive to go work in a corporate environment. My fears were quickly squashed. I was surprised to find that my transition was smooth, and I felt support from all levels. We really value our experience as a team, and ultimately have come to view each other as family. Staff at all levels from admins to Senior management, genuinely care about me as a peer and family member. I came on board to be an Administrative Assistant, and worked my way up to Office Manager, Accounting, HR and finally found my niche in a combo role of all three. I would definitely recommend UIS to anyone looking for more than just a place to put in time and get a paycheck. If you want to feel a part of something bigger, a family, then this is the place to do it!

Cons

becoming so invested that you forget to stop working.
