Pros

- Really great health benefits, 100% covers health insurance costs - Pays on your student loans - Lots of different groups to join and be a part of even working remote

Cons

- Recently UKG started a campaign to put its customers first, instead of addressing what our problems are internally (from upper management) they are throwing our high dollar customers to the front of the line and escalating them to perceive that we are taking care of our customers. - I was given a promotion due to the overwhelming amount of work as of recent, and my raise was sad. Barely 30 dollars more per paycheck - doesn't really come across that they appreciate the work I do and will do for the company. - Companies leadership is very secretive and not as transparent as they say they are, our teams wait times are extremely long. Instead of putting the customers first by being honest with them about their wait times, we are explicitly told we are not allowed to mention it from higher ups. They report a time to engage 3x shorter than it actually is. Leading to angry customers and bad CSATs. - Our team specifically has lost more than 10 people due to leaving due to UKG, and if UKG continues to push work on people that they cannot handle they will continue to leave. They have a great work life balance until an important customer needs a project done. My team is severely overworked.

Pros

There was once a great company named Ultimate Software, it was destroyed by a hostile takeover from H&F, a private equity firm, and a merger with Kronos to become UKG. There are very few Pros since that time.

Cons

When this company was Ultimate Software, prior to the takeover from H&F and the merger with Kronos, it was a world class company with top shelf people. The company Motto was "People First" and they truly lived by that motto, never a layoff, great working environment and stealer benefits. Since the takeover and subsequent merger with Kronos, to become UKG this company has taken a path of "Money First", which is understandable given the greedy nature of Private Equity Firms like H&F. They have systematically closed most of the offices across the US and have been expanding their footprint in Noida India, for obvious reasons. The leadership that has been put in place by H&F is clearly focused on IPO. And we all know what that means, clean up the books and make the company look as good on paper as possible. Can you say "Lipstick on a Pig". This was once a great company when it was run by Scott and Viv but now it has gone the way of the Private Equity management and is heading for a great fall.
