Cons
Oh where do I begin.... I started at Ultimate Software over 10 years ago, and knew this would be where I would retire. And I was early in a professional career. My job was demanding, but I was ALWAYS happy to go above and beyond because my managers, leaders and team truly appreciated my work. When this "merger" happened, it suddenly became unsteady everywhere. We moved under a new "leader" who no one respected and who had numerous complaints lodged, but because she was who she was, she remains. So I left a team that I absolutely loved because of HER, trying to move into a new space. The team I moved to, I never did what the job was... and that team was decimated within a few months. Thankfully my leader at that time took me with her to a newly created team, again though.... doing something I never signed up to do. I worked on that team for almost 2 years, never feeling like I belonged and wondering when this would end. That team was then "restructured" and I had an honest conversation with my new leader. That leader supported me in what my interests were and I finally started letting go of my anger, as I was working towards what I wanted to do. Then out of the blue, after 13 years, I was laid off via an email on July 3rd. Never had a conversation with any level of leadership, no HR, nothing. Just an impersonal email stating I was no longer needed. So I guess if you don't mind sitting on the edge of your seat every day, or just being the right color/gender/etc for DEI, then you can try this place. But this is NOT what it used to be, and the only reason the rating is even above 3 still is because of new hires being begged to post, fake reviews from who is left trying to save their own jobs, and prior company reviews.
