Pros

My experience at US Foods has been disappointing, marred by poor management, a lack of professionalism, and an unwelcoming atmosphere.

Cons

I worked at US Foods for a year, bringing with me 24 years of experience in IT. Unfortunately, this has been one of the poorest organizational experiences I've encountered. IT leadership is largely uninterested in engaging with employees and exhibits poor communication skills. They lack clear objectives and specific knowledge in critical areas. Instead of taking responsibility, they tend to blame and point fingers. On three separate occasions, they fired the vendor project team simply for disagreeing with them. Their approach is rooted in outdated legacy systems, and when modern methods present challenges, they choose to dismiss the team rather than educate themselves on new methodologies and implement effective change management strategies. The leadership team is unwelcoming and exhibits significant favoritism and bias, especially towards white employees. This bias persists even when more knowledgeable individuals are present. The project team lacks trust, which breeds rumors and leads to leadership taking unwarranted actions against employees. Non-white employees often face curt and unkind treatment from the leadership.

Pros

401k is good Benefits got more affordable

Cons

The biggest con is what must these big companies fail to focus on. Money. If to ask, even if you document measurable results ,that i spent a long time composing. You are told that other mechanics get the same or around the same pay. Then say no. Going the extra mile everyday, doesn't get you anything . Yes it's pay. We start a little better than market. But don't go up from there. Yes not right. Not we cannot get any overtime to make up for the lack of raise . It forces good mechanics out . Also they focus way to much on irrelevant things like dei etc .it should be the work you do not what you look like.
