Many recurring analysis and reporting with little actual follow-through or action, often serve as check box to give the impression of work getting done. Leadership is quite out of touch with current industry trends and what is actually happening in the market. Decision-making is very slow. Even when decisions are made, they tend to be narrow in thinking and fail to address the bigger issues behind the declining investments. Some senior management simply do not have the right technical or commercial capabilities to manage the investments/operations effectively, which coincide with continual downfall of the group. Poor and non-inclusive culture with clear cliques, gatekeeping, favouritism, creating a workplace that values who you knew rather than what you know.
