Pros

Flexible schedule. Half days on Friday.

Cons

Lack of communication and a murky company direction post its acquisition by a Private Equity firm. The emphasis on cost-cutting has led to workforce reductions while the leadership team expands, creating a sense of neglect toward employees. The HR department's attempts to promote growth and positivity seem superficial, with little real impact. Overall, there's a prevailing low morale in the office, with no evident focus on employee well-being or growth opportunities.

Pros

The organization has brought in a large number of new folks over the past six months. Only time I've seen a private equity group invest in growth instead of just cost cutting. Major focus on growing and finding work with new customers. It's been a refreshing change of pace. The Austin group rolled out a new work schedule with a standard 4x10 Monday-Thursday week, with Tuesday and Wednesday in the office. The three-day weekend every week is nice.

Cons

Some of the products have a lot of tech debt that we have to work through.

Pros

Good pay and benefits. Good working arrangement, able to work from home and come in once a week. Summer hours are 4-10's so you always have a three day weekend.

Cons

The company was purchased by an investment group.
