Pros
I interned at Unadat during Summer 2023 and it has been an excellent experience for me. As a member of the UI team, I was able to obtain exposure to frontend work and design. I would say I am more likely to take a job in frontend and UI work, where previously I would have been less likely to take said career path. I worked alongside other ambitious interns, collaborating along the way, week to week, communicating design decisions and direction. We relayed our work and reasoning to other teams and product managers in our weekly demo meetings. I also worked in close contact with a member of the Computer Science team who helped code and realize our ideas. In these demo meetings, others would provide feedback that would make it into our next week goals. My employer's greatest strengths include providing useful feedback to our work, insight into various fields, and delegating tasks and specifying clear objectives each week. This internship also provided exposure to various technological tools used in the industry. I think the weekly sprints were very well organized and productive.
Cons
I do not have any cons. The internship was remote which was great for me to log on and get to work without the stress of transportation; however, I know others may prefer being in-person.
