Cons
If you are reading this please do not skip or ignore. When I applied I did exactly what you are doing now .. searching up the company reviews to get idea of what hopefully my new work place will look like. I read every single one and STILL chose to ignore and go through with the interview process anyway. I was desperate to get my foot in the door but there are better & easier ways. This is my personal experience below: - You will never leave on time. - You will be made to take on multiple tasks at once because they are ‘urgent’ even if it is impossible to do so - Constantly short staffed so you will have to take on more work load but for the same pay - Your conversations will be listened to by management next door - No creative freedom - You Will be questioned if you have stepped away from your desk to long I.E taking an important phone call or going to the toilet - If your laughing whilst working you will be told to stop talking to your colleague and be separated I.E swapped desks - If you make a tea & have a 5 minute chat with your colleagues you will be asked to go back to your desk - Every single email you send will be monitored - There is no real pay tier system. You can start on £22,000 but others can start on £24,000. ‘Senior’ coordinator is (or used to be) £25,000 however to determine the pay rise is up to managers discretion who delay the process to carry on paying you the minimum salary. - The moral in the office is constantly low - Work life balance doesn’t exist - Talked down to constantly - Made to sign employment contract in 24hrs. This does not give you enough time to read through and make the correct decision. This just applies pressure which is a red flag from the get go - Getting holiday approved can take months then also be rejected weeks before - Told when to go to lunch
