Pros
Unipsec immediately gives you a warm welcome and makes you realize that you are joining an amazing team. My on-boarding experience was excellent and I felt prepared for my first day. I went through a very detailed orientation to learn about Unispec's history, the customer's mission and goals, and the great benefits that Unispec has to offer (healthcare, discounted gym memberships, etc.) After just a few weeks of work, I was given special projects to work on and continuously given opportunities to grow as a young professional. Unispec holds monthly lunch and learns at the corporate office, which gives us the chance to learn about different things going on in the world and a chance to interact with fellow Unispec employees who we may not interface with on a daily basis. You truly see how much Unispec cares about each of their employees and they are always helpful and ready to answer any questions you may have. It is also great having an onsite Program Manager who is always available for immediate assistance when we need her. She is always helping us grow professionally and sincerely invests in our well-being.
Cons
The only con I would say is that the lunch break is too short for the amount of traffic in the local restaurants. With how busy some of the restaurants are in the area, it would be more convenient to have an hour lunch break. However, it is nice that we have a slight bit of flexibility on the time we take our lunch break so we can try to avoid the rush at the restaurants.
