The largest issue is the micro-management. Where as I once felt like I had a say in day-to-day branch operations, by the end of it I was worried I was going to get my hand slapped for saying yes or no to any request that came through. It creates a toxic work environment and didn't lend itself well to morale or company culture. Keep in mind, this micro-management was NOT coming branch level managers, but from upper management aka district level management. It took every bit of fun out of the job.
Pay is also a huge issue. The raises are miniscule, are definitely not consistent with inflation, and they will flatly hire someone on with less skill than you and pay them 2.50 more. I know this, because it happened to me. It's a part of what led me to my new job.
That leads into the long days. I know for some M-F, 7-5 is not bad, but it's not for me. Too many times an issue comes up and you're expected to come in early, go in on a Saturday or stay way later than originally intended. Absolutely no work-life balance.
There's also not much diversity, so if that's what you want or look for in a company, you are not going to get it here.
