Pros

> I worked with some of the best engineers in the industry using modern software development methods such as extreme programming > Adtech is a interesting domain and has lots of unique challenges, you'll learn a lot about the web and scalability. > The dev and product teams were co-located in one place, it was possible to get stuff done and deliver value. > The company was a good size, small enough to build relationships and make quick decisions yet big enough to have a global reach.

Cons

> Benefits didn't change from when the company was a startup. Think free beer on a friday but legal minimum pension contribution. Nothing replaced equity options when the company was acquired by News Corp. > Since the founders of the company left, there has little experience of adtech in the senior management team, leading to poor strategic choices. > The acquisition by News Corp turned into a big mess, and left a lot of financial problems resulting in redundancies, poor product investment choices and a weak leadership. This has continued with the recent ownership by Tremor. > The company is now trading on former glory. Unruly as a company has completely changed since early 2019.

Pros

Young company in the US with potential to grow and opportunities to learn for entry level. There were cool things in the office like snacks, occasional lunches, game table.

Cons

Lots of disconnect between headquarters (London) and external offices. Not enough people support so some of us were overworked at times.
