Pros
Meaningful work, mostly remote opportunities, interesting and dedicated colleagues.
Cons
My experience with the company started off very positive, but over the last year, I have observed a shift in the culture. As a job coach in direct services, there is very limited opportunity for growth, and the goals set for performance are becoming increasingly difficult to achieve. There seems to be little consideration for regional differences, market trends, or the varying levels of support coaches have, which has led to an imbalance in the number of job seekers available to meet placement targets. Some coaches are given 2-3 times as many job seekers as others, making it much harder to meet expectations for some and much easier for others. While the C-suite leadership is exceptional, the direct services leadership often overlooks feedback from job coaches and sets unrealistic demands that contribute to increasing burnout and dissatisfaction. There is a growing emphasis on numbers, which is starting to impact the quality of service delivery. Additionally, employee experiences vary significantly across different departments and geographic locations. Overall, the organization’s culture feels like it's changing in a way that may lead to higher turnover if these trends continue.
