Pros
Good benefits, including a 4% matching 401k plan, generous paid time off, and some of the nicest people I've ever worked with. Working environment was good, clean, with a well designed office space and excellent lighting. In spite of overall management, a certain underground culture evolved from the associates themselves who always made the best of an uncertain future.
Cons
A decided lack of communication at ever level of the organization. No such thing as an all hands meeting, occasional team meetings, and very little pass down information - either pro or con. Very high turn over in HR and employees don't trust going there. A very robust company in years past, but has experienced a steady decline over the past several years with several thousands of people let go at 100s at a time due to the nature of business from the primary client, program initiatives ending and the housing market picking up. The money has already been made at this company, and it is either looking for the next big thing or will liquidate remaining assets and move on. Admins are very under valued, not used in traditional support roles and under paid by any other companies standard, especially with the high cost of rents in this area. Admin live paycheck to paycheck and are paid at least 6K under the average in this area.
