Pros
Kind and talented coworkers (fewer and fewer), Decent benefit, Mission statement. The founder has a passion for presenting Christian truth and principles contextualized for the black church. CEO wants to build a multi-media empire to help those goals. Monthly chapel service and weekly Bible study. Flexing hours.
Cons
Prideful unskilled executives. They treat the professional people they hired like interns or personal assistants. They think they know more than all their workers that already worked at some of the top companies of the world. Some freelance have had to threaten law suits to get paid. Workers are all there to serve the company's great mission statement and founder's vision. But are overworked by a top-heavy management structure. They feel like they can be fired at any time if they can'take do all the work piled in them. It is a very stressing environment. They take advantage of the "right-to-work" laws by purposely working people to the point of burn out. They feel workers are "a dime-a-dozen" and can be easily replaced. Sort of like industries before the unions. They want to fire full time workers to save money on benefits and use managers to control contract workers.
