Pros

Most people there are genuinely wonderful and hard-working and are bought into the idea that they're changing people's lives while living the "nomad tech life" dream but it comes at a cost.

Cons

No benefits. Paychecks are usually late which causes a lot of unneeded stress on the whole team. There were 30+ times in the few short years I worked there where paychecks were paid a day or more late including when no one was paid during the entire month of December until January. The CEO chronically blamed the payroll company and doesn't often take responsibility or take care of their team. The business is run to stroke egos, excite investors, and make students feel good but behind the scenes, there is no proper training, quality recruitment, guidance, leadership, documentation, job descriptions, performance reviews, raises, role support, growth paths, or vision. It's a very siloed work environment with very poor communication, expectations, and rollout of any new changes. Leadership lacks integrity and surrounds themselves with "YES" people and isn't questioned which causes company-wide struggle and continues to prevent long-term growth and success. Ask any current or past employee about any of these issues and they'll corroborate these experiences.

Pros

I've met good, talented, and skilled people here.

Cons

I've been hearing a lot of people leaving not getting their final pay. They're very disorganized and management lacked leadership skills. They couldn't pay their people right, but overworked us. We keep full schedule, and sometimes our pay comes late. It was frustrating working here!!
