Pros

Exceptional benefits, nice office, smart and caring co-workers. Reputable business and partners. People are willing to work together and especially team leaders are very open to change and innovation.

Cons

A few people should have been fired a long time ago--since this is a small company 1 rotten apple can stink up the place. Hostility is tolerated and candor is not heard of. Product-market fit isn't completely there for expansion products.

Pros

Vigor Systems operates a high profile TV media distribution operation via satellite and Amazon cloud services. The company uses the latest tools to drive development and improve productivity. The office atmosphere is relaxed but you have to respond rapidly to challenges as the company's clients are quite demanding. Many in the company work across multiple projects so there is not much chance of settling in a rut. The company is beginning to carve out its own business niche. So it is rewarding when projects reach milestones that are part of the future. You can't beat the San Diego weather or beach and the city has a laid back style. Compared to LA, San Diego is a more comfortable environment.

Cons

Things are fast moving and you need to be at the top of your game to prevent things falling through the cracks. There are no organizational safety nets to molly coddle you.
