Pros
Hard to say with the current state of the company. VISTA used to provide a great career option even if just a stepping stone into similar industries but now it's pretty entry level at all levels with little to offer. You'll meet some great people working there.
Cons
Every team (and the overall company) is in a continuous state of flux with no clear understanding of where anything is actually going. Wrong people in leadership roles driving the business into the ground. Company morale is extremely low. VISTA used to have a great presence in the market place but no longer has a great reputation and you will experience that in the business you conduct with clients and providers. Extremely long time to ramp up (if ever) in any role with a very small percentage of people (honestly, maybe 1 %) actually making good money. Lots of turn over. Salary is low for industry standards and the gross profit commission structure is confusing and in some positions will draw on your salary to determine how much you take home. It's taken the company years to try and implement a working CRM and it's still not up and running. Company culture is very much a management team versus the rest of everyone else mentality with hardly any transparency with endless meetings all day. A lot of the management are people who have been there for a long time who have some very dated approaches to the business or people with no experience in the industry and may have been a manager at some point in their career. You might end up teaching your manager how things work. Experienced a lot of managers who don't treat their people well and are pretty abusive and saw a lot of turn over just from that. Training is terrible and ran by people who have an outdated view on the industry. Reporting in the company is messed up over all and the metrics they use to determine how people are doing cause people to be counter productive. Some managers are pretty over your shoulder and micro managers. The list really could go on and on... It's kind of sad though because VISTA used to be great prior to being acquired a couple of times.
