Pros
Great benefits. Love the ski pass. My manager had full confidence in my ability and was given the chance to lead our staff without being micromanaged. Corporate officers were always a quick call or email away if I need extra support.
Cons
Not a real downside, but my location was 3 hours from the snow so I didn't get to use the ski pass as much as I would have liked to. Again, not a real downside, but bonuses really depend on the weather. No weather, no traffic, no sales. Because Vail is a great company, it's hard to promote as you move higher up in the company. I was at a point where I had to relocate to further grow or I had to wait for my supervisor to retire. I would definitely come back if the right position opened up for me!
